Endorsement
Kimberly Overman has received the endorsement of the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC), a multi-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in politics at every level of government. NWPC recruits, trains, and elects qualified, pro-choice, progressive women candidates, and its endorsement is a mark of both values alignment and viability.
Kimberly’s candidacy reflects the priorities at the heart of NWPC’s mission: protecting reproductive freedom, advancing constitutional equality through the Equal Rights Amendment, expanding access to dependent care, and ensuring women and families are respected in federal policy. A mom, grandmother, small business owner, and former Chair of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, she brings a proven record of delivering results and the financial expertise to be an effective, accountable representative for women and families.
In notifying Kimberly of the endorsement, NWPC leadership wrote that they appreciate all she does to support women’s rights and know she will continue to fight for them. It is a fight she is proud to lead, in partnership with NWPC, to elect more women leaders and protect women’s rights in Washington.
